a. Some of the animals and plants that I found were petunias, rohdea japonica, trillium, frisco european beech, crows, birds, bees, and fish. The flowers all belong in my roots because I have been involved in gardening from a young age. My mom loves flowers and would always bring me outside to garden with her. These flowers are a constant in my life and they are always there through rain and shine. The bees would be on the fraught line because although they are good for the environment, they sting me. I always have mixed feelings about them as they cause me to feel fear and harm, but help the environment. The crows and birds would be in the inside because they have been a big part of my neighborhood and are always around. The fish would not fit in my circle or tree at all just because I never had a pet as a kid and fish were not a big part of my life.
b. I observed a bird in the garden. When I first started observing it, it was jumping around in the grass and pecking at the ground. I assume this is because it was looking for worms and insects to feed itself and maybe its children. It was aware of me as every time I attempted to come closer, as it jumped every time. It also didn't interact with other living things; the other bird near it also looked for food and stayed isolated. I do feel like I relate to this animal as it had one goal and wanted to accomplish it. Many times when I have a goal I tend to stay to myself and not really talk to others, similar to what the bird was doing.
